The Beautiful Landscapes of Hong Kong: #AITKitchenInHK Day 7

One of the must see places in Hong Kong has to be The Peak. To save yourself the expensive tram fare, here is my inside tip for getting yourself a cheaper and more scenic route up to the Peak! Note this is from Tai Po Centre however you can get the MTR to Central too!

  • Get the 307 bus from Tai Po Centre getting off at Central Pier 3
  • Walk along into ifc mall
  • Head to Central Station, Exit D
  • Cross the road into the bus station, head left and find the number 15 Bus
  • Take the bus all the way to the last stop

From Tai Po, we got the 307 bus which was $21.2. The bus from Central to the Peak cost $9.8 so the total journey from the Peak back home was $62, which is around £6.10. Now this doesn’t include the ticket to get to the very top which was $48, but the price of the return tram ticket was $83 so the money does start to stack up.

There’s not much to say about each of the pictures, I’ll let the views of Hong Kong speak for themselves! There are a variety of views; the first 2 are from Central outside ifc mall, the next 7 were taken on the bus journey up to the Peak, the next 7 were taken at the Peak, the next one is from Wan Chai looking up at the Peak and the final 4 are views of Tsim Sha Tsui from Wan Chai. I’ve also thrown in a very rare selfie!
